Ama's Kitchen Store is a fictional shop in Accra, made for this demo. Carts and unpaid orders are reminded by SMS, WhatsApp or email through Mench Notify, and the reminders stop the moment the customer buys.
At checkout
Under the email field the customer sees this notice (you can switch to a tick box instead):
We may remind you about your cart by message. You can opt out any time.
The reminder
Thirty minutes after a cart is left, the first message goes out. This is the text for a fictional customer, written by the plugin, as an SMS (the currency shows as its ISO code so the message stays in short GSM-7 segments):

One-tap opt-out
Every message ends with a Stop link, added by the plugin. It opens a confirm page and one button stops all reminders to that contact.
The button only opts out the fictional customer in this demo.
Unpaid orders
When a payment fails or is never finished, the order gets its own reminder with a pay link, for example this one for a fictional order #1042:
